Alex holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania; and he lived and worked in Asia and Europe before landing in California.  In his travels he developed a love of architecture and an intense curiosity about the built environment around him. Alex began his career as builder in Los Angeles, then found love and moved to San Francisco.

 

Since earning his California general contractors license in San Francisco in 2005, Alex gained an intimate knowledge of how to get things built in the city.  He is now surrounded by a crew of long-term employees; anchored by deeply experienced in-house carpenters. He has established collaborative relationships with local artisans, specialized subcontractors, and suppliers. Alex can deliver in all phases of high-end residential construction. Adept at communicating with clients, architects, and designers, the team is respectful, discreet, efficient, and able to execute complex detailing with finesse.
