A 1908 single family home was taken down to the studs, modernized, and reconfigured to capture views of a giant Redwood and the bay beyond.  The remodel included locally made custom cabinetry throughout and bespoke steel elements.  In order to create new rooms beneath the existing house, we excavated into solid rock and replaced the foundation.  A split-level addition with a roof deck above created inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces.
